Making Money With Adsense
lets talk about making money with Adsense
More and more people are going the route of starting their own website or blog. While some are doing it as part of an online business, many more are simply doing so to talk about what they love. Just because you are not going into business doesn’t mean that you still can’t make a little money along the way. One of the easiest ways to do that is by signing up for Google AdSense. If you already have an account with Google, you are already set and need only place the AdSense code on your site.
What is Adsense
If you have never heard of AdSense, let me take a moment to explain what it does and how you can make money from it. Google makes a large chunk of money from advertisers who want to be seen on the results pages after a search. The good news for you is that these ads do not have to be reserved solely for Google search results pages, and can in fact be shared on your website. You will then receive a small percentage of that advertising revenue anytime someone clicks on one of the ads that is displayed on your website.
The amount you are paid for each click can go from a few cents all the way up to a few dollars. As you can see, making money with AdSense is as simple as copying and pasting a little bit of code on your web pages, but you are probably now wondering if there is a way to maximize your earnings. It can be done, but you have to be incredibly careful in the way you go about it. For example, it is against the Google Terms of Service to ask visitors to click on the ads on your page, with the end result usually being that you will be removed from the AdSense program.
PPC
It is worth noting that no-one can tell you, other than the good folks at Google, how much any click is going to be worth, but it does make sense that if you get more ad clicks, you will make more money. The ads that are shown on AdSense are served based on the content of your website. What that means is that if you choose a specific niche to focus on for your site, the ads that are shown will be relevant to what you are writing about. That will make visitors that much more likely to give them a click.
Ad Placement
The placement of your ads is also incredibly important. You want them to be visible, but having too many or having the ads totally dominate the page will have the reverse effect. Your best bet is to create the ads so that they look like a natural part of your website. This can be done within the AdSense member area, where you can choose the colors for borders and text, as well as the perfect size for your website. Taking a little time to create an ad that fits and looks organic will often result in increased ad clicks.
